ABOUT AIR CARGO FORUM INDIA

Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI) was established on 14th September 2012 with a vision to “build a world class environmental friendly air logistics industry by innovation with credible allied activities and providing business facilitation to boost the Indian economy.”

ACFI is registered as a distinctive nationwide forum, represented by the members of entire air cargo logistics/supply chain industry in India having participation from Air Transport Service Operators (Airlines) including Non – schedule Airline Operators, Airport Operators (public and private), Cargo Terminal Operators (public and private), Courier and Express Operators, Custom Brokers, Freight Forwarders, Bonded Truck Operators, General Sale Agents, Integrators, Domestic Cargo Operators, Associations of the above logistics trade members.

At the international collaboration ACFI is the affiliate member of The International Air Cargo Association(TIACA). TIACA is engaged with its aim and objective on global platform with IATA, ICAO and WCO to reach agreements facilitating global alignment for trade facilitation services. Similarly, ACFI is engaged at the national (India) level for the growth of domestic as well as international air cargo business.

ACFI signed MoU with KPMG as its Knowledge Partner.

ACFI signed MoU with Aerospace & Aviation Sector Skill Council (AASSC) to promote skill development for the betterment of the industry by creating a long term mutually rewarding partnership between ACFI and AASSC under National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF).

In value terms Air Cargo Sector constitutes 35% of the total transportation business of national and international trade comprising all modes of transports. ACFI works tirelessly for the rapid and sustainable growth of the Air Cargo & Logistics Industry resulting the considerable growth of Indian economy. However, there are many challenges being faced by the air cargo logistics trade & industry which are impending the growth and development of this sector in order to deal with the challenges and common issues being faced by the members, ACFI engages proactively with all the players of Air Logistics Industry and with Government/Regulatory Agencies.
