Pharma Sub-committee had a meeting with the ADC at IGIA, Cargo Terminal on 6th November, 2015 4 PM on the specific four points i.e. Extension of document acceptance time, Issuance of NOC on 24×7 basis, Paperless transaction through Single Window System, Introduction of Risk Management System (RMS) and Drugs approved by DCGI or listed in the Pharmacopeia should not need any NOC or clearance by ADC. He informed that on the request of ACFI subcommittee ADC has agreed to extend the acceptance time of documents up to 2.30 p.m. in place of 1.30PM at present on all working days. ADC has also informed that urgent cases are also taken beyond 2.30 pm and all the documents accepted are cleared on the same day. ADC had also informed that 24×7 was already in practice for clearance of urgent/emergency cases by ADC officers on call basis due to shortage of staff.
