The Government of India proposes to table significant amendments in the existing Customs Act 1962 in the ensuing budget session. In response to this and discussions with several very senior government officials the Forum has constituted a Subcommittee for review of Customs Act, Rules and Regulations and has taken inputs from the Industry Leaders and prepare a
comprehensive recommendations for changes in the Customs Act.
