ACFI Member’s meeting with Secretary General – TIACA
22nd Feb’ 2016, New Delhi.
ACFI Governing Board Members meeting with Mr. Douglas Brittin, Secretary General, TIACA (The International Air Cargo Association) held on 22nd Feb’ 2016 in the office of Mr. Pradeep Panicker, President ACFI, New Udaan Bhawan, Opposite T3, IGIA, New Delhi wherein Mr. Sanjiv Edward the existing Chairman of TIACA and Head Cargo, M/s. Delhi International Airport Limited was also present. The meeting was very cordial and fruitful on the common aims and objectives of TIACA and ACFI. Both TIACA & ACFI have similar composition of membership and representations in the Governing Board as well as aims and objectives for the development of air cargo trade and industry. TICA is engaged on its aims and objectives on global scale for instance, with ICAO and WCO to reach agreements facilitating global alignment and trade.
Whereas, ACFI is engaged at the national Indian level. There is enough scope of both working collaboratively exchanging new ideas and best practices prevailing in each other’s areas for the benefit of the air cargo industry at large. It was agreed that both TIACA & ACFI may come more closure by attending each other’s seminars/ events and more so becoming members of each other to take the international air cargo industry to new heights.
